Testimonials

“I came to Deb after living in a chronic state of stress/overwhelm and being stuck in survival mode for far too long. My life had not quite gone the way that I had hoped, and I had lost myself somewhere along the way. Deb helped me to calm my nervous system and reconnect with myself. She created a safe and supportive environment for me to freely talk about the traumatic events of my life and was very encouraging as I worked on my issues. I got so much more out of just a few months of working with her than I have with longer periods of regular talk therapy. I am forever grateful to have met such a kind and compassionate person to walk with me through this season of my healing.”

“When I met Deb some time mid-2016, my life was a wreck. I was an angry 52 year-old woman, consumed with bitterness. I was hateful, defiant, rebellious and unforgiving. At that time in my life, I had very little compassion, and even less empathy for society at large, and I barely had the ability to appreciate human suffering, or the depths of despair. In those days I didn't know God, and didn't want to know Him either. I was crass, sarcastic, cynical, and relentless. For whatever reason, at the time Deb saw and understood my disjointed state-of-mind, she quickly befriended me, and she took me under her wing. What a glorious day that was for me.

Deb possesses an incredible ability to see into one’s soul. She felt my hurts. She understood my early-childhood trauma. She identified with my stories. She invested her time willingly, and freely every week, to discuss dramatic and painful life-situations that were causing me trouble. With her gentle loving spirit, and relatable analogies during her coaching, and explanations, Deb showed me through her example how to love and connect to myself in ways that I’d never learned before. Her perceptions seem to be always ‘spot on.’ She’s very clever, wise, and often spills out her genuine emotions along with mine, as we work through some of life’s most difficult lessons.

Through her loving friendship, and persistence in caring for my wellbeing, Deb led me to an understanding of God that countless others had tried, and failed. She never gave up on me as many prior to her had done. There is a definite calling in this world for Deb and her amazing talents. She is one of the most priceless gifts I’ve ever received. I owe my sobriety to Deb, to her never-ending, unwavering belief in me, her boundless love and care, for her willingness to continually show up, and participate in my journey to this new found freedom. From the bottom of my heart I thank you dear sister. Thank you.”
