Debra Wunderly

I am a certified trauma recovery coach with an intimacy focus and a background in Twelve-Step recovery and I love what I do! My familiarity with Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, and Nonviolent Communication, adds depth and breadth to my practice.

My coaching experience began over 20 years ago, when I was trained as a parent education facilitator of the STAR Parenting program (Robert Fox, Marquette University). At that time, I also developed a companion program for the children of enrolled parents.

Additionally, I have over a decade of experience with Twelve-Step recovery groups, and have authored documents currently in use by Twelve-Step fellowships. In 2014, I co-created a program of recovery for people who suffer from various aspects of sex addiction, and have co-facilitated groups that utilize this program.

In 2022, I teamed up with Hope House Healing and Education (based in Alabama) where together, we provide wrap-around services for people in recovery from sex addiction and intimate partner betrayal.

I have found great fulfillment in following my newfound passion of supporting survivors of ritual abuse and childhood sex trafficking, helping them reclaim their power.

As a former missionary in South America, I became fluent in Spanish and welcome inquiries en español. My husband and I have been married for over two decades and are parents of several children.
